Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi raised today as a concern the citizen's distrust towards state education.
In his speech during the review of the draft law "On the Establishment of the National Agency for Educational Services", Korreshi said that many citizens are being forced to pay money to send their children to private schools.
According to the MP, this situation is unacceptable and a check on the country's pre-university educational institutions should be seriously considered.
"We are losing faith in the state education system. Everyone is being forced to go and pay money to private schools. It is not normal. Take note and ask. If this is not the case, I do not want anyone to be made an example of or fired. It is a shame for someone not to receive a grade because they are not in a course with X or Y grades. It is not right. People do not have to pay for courses to maintain their average," said Korreshi. /CNA
