Prime Minister Edi Rama recounted several moments related to his passion for painting, as a dimension beyond politics.
As Rama told the Italian media outlet 'Il Giornale', he always paints, even when he may be speaking, because as he said, it is an activity separate from speaking.
Rama also said that he enjoys working on his own ties, which he uses at official events, while humorously pointing out that they are not for sale.

Do you stop for a moment, take a blank sheet of paper and two colored pencils, and start drawing again?
“I always paint, because it is an activity separate from speaking: while I speak, I paint.”
Are those wonderful ties you made for sale?
"No. I do them for my own pleasure with a school friend since we were young. I draw them and she then prints them, but not to sell them." /CNA
