Former Minister of Finance and socialist Arben Malaj today ironized the claims of innocence of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Through a post on social media, Malaj states that Veliaj should stop humiliating prosecutors, judges and any of his critics who give him the metaphor of a 'donkey' and deal with the accusations.

Malaj emphasizes that although Veliaj has the right to be presumed innocent until a final decision is made, he is neither an 'angel' nor a 'political prisoner'.

"Erion Veliaj has the right to be presumed innocent, but Veliaj is not an "angel" nor a "political prisoner."

Veliaj is not doing well to insult a prosecutor with the metaphor of a "donkey", as the legal violation of legal criteria and measures should be verified by justice institutions, not by Veliaj's humiliations.

Ok, but if the prosecutor is changed and the charges remain, what is left for Veliaj?

Veliaj is no angel because:

Veliaj and Mjaft were Rama's voluntary slaves from day one.

Veliaj has misused every financial resource to build his superficial glory.

Veliaj hid the transparency of millions of euros of funds from "Mjaft" by stating that he had lost his laptop.

Veliaj terrorized poor villagers who sold fruits and vegetables for survival, a practice that has no place in any corner of any New York neighborhood.

Veliaj, pampered by his mentor who exploited him to the core, created an army with about 36 advisors who were paid from Albanian taxes.

They all basically had portals and raised Veliaj to the sky and fought relentlessly against every individual.

Kurtz, the former Chancellor of Austria, just for building the same scheme to distort the voter's vote, lost the position of party leader, lost the position of Chancellor, and was tried and sentenced to a criminal penalty.

Veliaj shamelessly attacked every critical voice, publicly accusing them of "being like this because they had asked him for a building permit and he had not given it to them."

When the municipality violated every legal deadline, I requested a meeting with Veliaj alone.

It was held in a face-to-face meeting with Veliaj, who had also taken the "state is me" urban planner.

Without any communication ethics, when I said: "Reply because you have a legal obligation and I will complain through legal channels in court," he, with an arrogance that has never been encountered before, responded to me with contemptuous arrogance: "Go wherever you want."

Then I turned to him and Veliaj in the office and said that what the people are saying is true, that there is a land mafia in your municipality.

You block the legal owners during the day, while your oligarchs at night pressure the legal owners to buy the land at prices or participation coefficients much lower than the market.

Out of respect for the soul of my deceased brother, I am willing to testify.

The media close to Veliaj slandered that my brother had requested a tower.

Lies always have short legs.

The request that the brother had made to Veliaj, asking only for him to erect a temporary wooden structure, was immediately published on social media, just so that they would not occupy his land.

My position is not fueled only by this specific case.

But the concrete case supports the arguments why Veliaj is not an angel.

Repeated message for Veliaj:

STOP humiliating prosecutors and judges and any critics of you.

Be careful with the metaphor of the donkey/donkeys, as it will come back to haunt you.

The Relindasi, of which you were a part as the good soldier Švejk, will be morally responsible in the face of the criminalization of an important part of public institutions and administration.

Deal with the EV accusations, not with the donkeys, because they, even according to Dritëro Agolli, have long been putting themselves before the horse during the Renaissance:
