Berisha alone in the elections/ Bozdo: Better than a race with candidates who do not meet the conditions

Democratic Party MP Eno Bozdo said today that the referendum being held today gives DP members the opportunity to express their will for the president.

In a statement to reporters, Bozdo said that it would be a farce if the DP were to hold a race with candidates who are there simply to fill the number, rather than aiming for a politically valid process.

According to Bozdo, no candidate who does not meet the conditions should be in the running for the Democratic leadership.

"I invite Democrats to come out with a free vote and show their will. No candidate who does not meet the conditions has to be in the race. It is better to have a politically valid process than a race with candidates who are there simply to fill the number; this would be just a farce. This is the best way; secret voting is taking place normally in every branch," said Bozdo./CNA
