Albania ended the COVID pandemic as one of the countries with the highest mortality in the world.

Now, when the pandemic has passed and the final calculations have been made, it is found that around 16,000 additional deaths have occurred in Albania from COVID during the three years of the pandemic. With 557 additional deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, Albania ranks 14th in the world.

This figure cannot and should not pass without being analyzed to reveal the responsibility for these lost lives.

For comparison, with less than 5,000 additional deaths or 265 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, Kosovo ranks 55th, having a mortality rate twice as low as Albania.

There is another very important factor related to transparency. Kosovo and Albania report almost the same number of deaths from COVID (3,160 Kosovo and 3,560 Albania).

This means that what I have called the "fraud coefficient" is only 1.4 for Kosovo, but almost 5 for Albania. So in Albania, Borat is together with his own chemists, clarinetists and ballerinas, hiding 4 out of 5 deaths during the pandemic, bragging shamelessly to the Albanians as a "champion" in managing the pandemic.

Not much time has passed and Albanians certainly remember the debates of that time:

- for the absurd and unscientific measures taken by Borat and the borates,

-for forged medical cards,

- for the inhumane conditions of treatment of the sick that forced quite a few of them to commit suicide in prison-hospitals,

- for the dead hidden in morgues in scandalous conditions and complete lack of respect for human dignity,

- for Chinese vaccines,

-for abusive and ineffective medications that were sold on the black market at exorbitant prices,

-for testing that was offered by power-linked speculators with 1,000 percent profit rates,

- about the ridiculous committee of so-called "experts",

- for the representatives of Borat's ministry who appeared on the screens and with unprecedented aggressiveness defended the indefensible, etc., etc.

In October 2023, a civil society group sued the Bulgarian government over its handling of the pandemic. The purpose is twofold, on the one hand to account for the crimes committed during the mismanagement of the pandemic, but on the other hand to draw lessons for the future.

Albania needs a similar trial, especially due to the fact that at the head of the state is the same criminal sect that must bear responsibility for those 16 thousand dead Albanians due to the criminal actions and inactions of Borat and the Borats.
