Russian bombings in Ukraine/Civilians killed in Kharkiv and Odessa

On Monday morning, a woman and a child were tragically killed in the Kharkiv region as a result of Russian bombing in the liberated areas of Ukraine.

The two civilians were killed by a Russian drone strike in Bogoduhiv, in the Kharkiv region.

One of the strikes destroyed a residential building and caused a small fire, which was later extinguished. The bodies of a woman and a 10-year-old boy were pulled from the rubble, while three other people were injured.

Another drone attack has killed at least one person in the southern Ukrainian port city, according to the regional military command. The Iranian-made 'Shahed' drones caused damage to several buildings, an Odessa official said.  

The attacks are part of the conflict between the two countries that has been ongoing for nearly four years since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022./ CNA
