Tirana hosts the ministerial on Ukraine in June

Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha held a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha, where they discussed recent developments in Ukraine and efforts to end Russia's war.

In his post on "X", Hoxha also announced the holding of a ministerial in June in Tirana for Ukraine.

This ministerial, according to him, reconfirms the close cooperation between the two countries and the commitment to regional peace, security and stability.

Diplomacy is not limited to formal meeting rooms; it takes place everywhere, even while waiting for the next flight to the next engagement.

I was pleased to have a fruitful and substantive exchange with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, on the latest developments in Ukraine, the ongoing efforts to end Russia's unjust aggressive war, as well as on the broader European security landscape.

Albania has stood strongly alongside Ukraine since the first day of the brutal Russian aggression and will continue to support Ukraine with unwavering commitment, in every way possible.

We also exchanged views on our respective journeys towards the European Union and underlined the importance of maintaining the momentum for the European membership process of both countries.

Our discussion also touched on bilateral relations and future activities, including a ministerial meeting to be held in June in Tirana, reaffirming our close cooperation and shared commitment to regional peace, security and stability. /CNA
