Today is the deadline/ 4 prosecutors submit applications for the new head of SPAK

Four prosecutors have so far submitted applications to the High Prosecutorial Council to run for the new head of SPAK.

The prosecutors seeking to succeed Altin Dumani as head of the Special Prosecution Office are:

-Adnan Jolli

-Klodian Braho

-Doloresa Musabelliu

-Elvin Gogaj.

Candidates' platforms are submitted to the High Prosecutorial Council and then the Career Development Commission verifies whether the candidacies meet the conditions.

The list is then presented at the penary meeting. Voting for the head of SPAK is open.

If there are candidates with the same number of votes, a second round of voting is held, only for these candidates.

The mandate of the current head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, ends in December 2025./ CNA
