The head of the Criminal Lawyers Association, Joana Qeleshi, stated on the Now show with Erla Mëhilli that the murder of Judge Astrit Kalaja should be an alarm bell for everyone as it is the last straw for a society.
Qeleshi stated that this event should shake up all institutions to take measures for their protection and safety and that of individuals.
"I really hope that this will be an unfortunate event that will shake up all state structures. These are absurd things to happen in 2025. All institutions should look at their approach, the Ministry, the Supreme Court, the State Police, everyone should take care and should take measures to protect institutions and people."
