The injured are released from the hospital/ Family: We are saddened by the murder of the judge

A father and son, who were injured yesterday at the Court of Appeals in Tirana, have left the hospital premises today.

The family of the two injured, in a statement to the media, said that they strongly condemn the act of violence and call for urgent measures to ensure the integrity of the courts and the safety of judges.

He said he feels saddened by the murder of Judge Astrit Kalaja and expressed his condolences to the family.

"We are deeply saddened by the  tragic death of Judge Astrit Kalaja.

Our condolences go out to his family, friends and colleagues.

"We strongly condemn the act of violence and  call for urgent measures to guarantee the safety of judges and the integrity of the courts," the family stated./ CNA
