"Shkambi the land grabber"/ Lawyer tells the truth about property

I don't know Gjon Shkambi or Gjovalin Shkambi; I know Pal Shkambi. My late mother is the daughter of Ndrek Tom Kurbini. Ndrek Tom Kurbini was a merchant and owner of a 30 dunyam piece of land. Land that, I believe, Shkodra knows well: from the former Metalikja to the former Nënshehnia, it was the property of my grandfather.

30 acres of land, all of Shkodra knows it, the entire government, the entire municipality, all of humanity.

I am a lawyer and I have been behind on my mother's properties for 30 years now. They are recognized by the Property Restitution decision. The Owners Association knows this property well.

This property has a certificate of ownership and has been registered since 1930, issued by the Albanian State Archives, with maps, coordinates, general plan, floor plan and all documentation from that time, which, apart from the Kurbini family, no one else possesses.

The Shkambi family came to Shkodra in 1991, when the system fell, and I don't know about this building and this name. I'm sorry that this happened like this.

I'm talking about Pal Shkambi, the occupier of Ndrek Tom Kurbin's land. He knows very well — every time my mother, with my aunts and his brother, the direct heirs of their father's property, have shown up there, this Mr. Pal Shkambi has come out to them with a crowbar in his hand and told them: "Get out, old woman, because two meters of land is waiting for you!".

The entire people of Shkodra, the entire industrial zone, the entire municipality, the court, and the government know this.

I repeat: I'm not talking about Mr. Gjin Shkambi and this building — they're not them. I'm talking about Pal Shkambi.

The lands have an owner, and the legal owners have never been questioned; their properties have been taken away since 1945 and whatever was wanted has been done with them.

That place has been taken over by red-handed crime for 100 years now, and the property never goes to the owner, but to the ownerless.
