Today is the deadline for applications for prosecutors who wish to run for head of SPAK.
CNA has confirmed the names of two prosecutors who are expected to run. They are Klodian Braho and Adnan Xholi.
Candidates' platforms are submitted to the High Prosecutorial Council and then the Career Development Commission verifies whether the candidacies meet the conditions.
The list is then presented at the penary meeting. Voting for the head of SPAK is open.
If there are candidates with the same number of votes, a second round of voting is held, only for these candidates.
The mandate of the current head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, ends in December 2025./CNA
