Resolution on EU integration/Vocshi-majority: Implement it, don't leave it

DP MP Albana Vokshi delivered her speech at the plenary session where she spoke about the draft resolution on the country's European integration process.

Vokshi stated that this is the first resolution in several years that has been reached by consensus and that it is 90% a contribution of the opposition's work.

She added that the report brought by the Council of Ministers was among the weakest and did not provide answers to any issues. Among other things, addressing the majority, she said that she hopes that this resolution will not remain only on paper but will be implemented.

This draft resolution that I hope will be approved at the end of the session is 90% contribution of the opposition. This is what happens when the opposition is not excluded, but is given a place, its opinion is taken and a product emerges where all the issues that the annual report of the Council of Ministers does not touch upon are mentioned.

We have gone beyond this report of the Council of Ministers. The resolution is based on the report that was brought, which is among the weakest ever. It does not answer any questions and does not inform the public. This is why you keep the whole process secret. The Prime Minister cannot create his own integration agenda. He must come here.

This is the reason why Montenegro will enter the EU much earlier than Albania. A process that you are keeping secret. Why don't you publish the conditions? What secrets are you keeping? What are you hiding from the citizens? Will you adhere to the resolution that is being approved today? I hope that it will not remain only on paper. You have marked a black spot in the integration process. You have blocked the IBAR report and the integration process ," said Vokshi. /CNA
