Democratic Party MP Enno Bozdo spoke after the end of the voting process for the election of the leader of the Democratic Party and the start of the vote counting.

Bozdo stated in a connection to Syri TV that today's election process was one of the best ever held in the DP and the best from an organizational point of view. According to him, the shrinking number of members was also influenced by the departure of Albanians abroad.

"In the last two years, about 50 thousand Albanians have disappeared from Albania. We refer to this as an asymmetric phenomenon. Those who flee are unhappy with the situation here, but it is not excluded that 70% of them are supporters of the opposition. Votes should be counted where they are cast and we have left the process open to the media. Transparency is very important in this process. It is one of the best processes ever developed in the DP. It may be the best process from an organizational point of view. In terms of organization and transparency, we have set a new standard," said Bozdo.

Regarding the final result of the referendum, the Democratic MP said it could come out around 9:00 PM.

"I believe that within an hour or an hour or so we will be able to provide a preliminary result. This is because the forms are coming to us in a photocopied form, then tomorrow we will receive all the materials and verify them. Around 9:00 PM we will provide both the participation result and the final result," said the MP. /CNA
