"Lule Bore" political manifesto presented/ Berisha: Propaganda is

The political manifesto "Lule Bore" by author Andi Mustafaj was promoted at the Democratic Party headquarters.

During this event, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, praised the book as a valuable instrument for understanding the difficult reality under an autocratic dictatorship, where propaganda is being used to sow confusion and cynicism in society.

Berisha made a critical analysis of the influence of the government-controlled media, describing it as a serious form of corruption that goes beyond the politics of the day. He emphasized that the regime has destroyed the fundamental contract of language, using it to hide reality and repeatedly deceive citizens.

According to the leader of the DP, unlike the previous dictatorship, the current regime uses "banal evil" to create indifference among citizens, presenting criminals as victims and devaluing any moral standards.

For his part, Mustafaj emphasized that the book is an invitation to all democrats to rediscover the courage to propose and build, breaking away from the destructive cycle of empty criticism that only serves to keep the regime afloat.

"This time, a propaganda campaign by 90% of the media, controlled by the government, has destroyed the fundamental contract of the citizen with the nation, which is the contract of language. A contract in which bread is called bread, health is called health, and death is called death."

This propaganda, in this regime, using euphemisms, using repeated deceptions from morning to night, for the opposite of what reality is. Where does this reach? It reaches where the citizen says 'neither this nor that, stay in my job'. It reaches where the truth disappears, and has no value anymore, because language, language is used to hide it.

Government propaganda is used to deceive. And here, Andi Mustafa beautifully describes the confusion and cynicism. These are the two main consequences of this activity. So, look where we are. We are the opposition in these conditions. They put walls on us. Citizens were put walls, prison, walls, prison in their minds. Things are devalued. Criminals are shown on screens.

Rapists appear on the screens. The leaders of criminal organizations appear to arouse, to arouse pain, after they have stolen hundreds of millions and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Albanians have died from drugs.

So, reading the book stops at this confusion sown by the regime. And this is a great contribution. There is no more serious form of corruption than the corruption of language. My world, says a famous philosopher who has dedicated his life to language, 'is my language, my world is limited to my language'.

But we as oppositionists must be clear about this. If we do not fight against it from morning to night, we remain hopeless. But we must be aware that fighting against it is a duty, an imperative of our activity.

The manifesto, as I rightly call it, presents in a way that I would say is surprising, surprising for the better, our organizational problems. I will tell you one thing here, that these days I have read a detailed, long report by the American Republican Institute on the Democratic Party.

They have come, they have done an extremely valuable study. A great support for us. For every democrat. How we should organize, how we should function, how we should digitize, how we should convey the message and function.

Andi Mustafa dedicates a chapter, absolutely with all the principles of this study, and he has not read it! Not that the book came out long before the study was done. But here, he has written that chapter precisely from the great intellectual and democratic commitment to how this party should be transformed. What are our undeniable potentials. So I say, every democrat, and every opposition member should read this book", said Berisha./ CNA
