Checks continue in the country's penitentiaries/What was seized in Fier

Checks for prohibited items are continuing in the country's prisons. According to information, the checks in the premises of the Fier prison were conducted as part of strengthening security measures, preventing the introduction or possession of prohibited items.

It is reported that during the search of the convict LK, 1 "iPhone" type mobile device was found and seized. The convict was sent to isolation, while the procedural materials were referred to the relevant structures.

In continuation of the functional duties of the Penitentiary Institution and in the context of strengthening security measures, preventing the introduction or possession of prohibited items, the Security Group, under the direction of the Director of the Institution, has exercised control over the premises of the institution.

The searches were conducted in building B, sectors 1 and 2. During the search of convict LK, 1 "iPhone" type mobile phone was found and seized.

An incident report was filed for the case and the convict was sent to isolation, while the procedural materials were referred to the relevant structures. /CNA
