Voting process for electing the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania (DP)

The voting process for the referendum for the leader of the Democratic Party has ended. Only the name of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was on the ballot. Meanwhile, the first results of the vote count have been published. 

Results so far:

In Saranda: 181 votes in favor, 40 votes against, 3 abstentions and 5 invalid votes.

In Gjirokastër: 270 votes in favor, 11 votes against, 5 abstentions and 5 invalid votes.

In Gramsh: 215 votes in favor, 22 votes against, 3 abstentions.

In Maliq: 724 votes in favor, 7 votes against and 4 invalid votes.

In Kolonjë: 213 votes in favor and 4 abstentions.

In Korça: 392 votes in favor, 18 votes against, 7 abstentions and 18 invalid votes.

In Bulqizë: 498 votes in favor and 13 votes against.

In Përmet: 217 votes in favor, 9 votes against and 2 abstentions.

In Këlcyrë: 205 votes in favor, 16 against, 10 abstentions and 1 invalid.

In Devoll: 648 votes in favor, 29 against, 15 abstentions and 3 invalid.

In Pogradec: 295 votes in favor, 19 against and 10 abstentions.

In Elbasan: 1,120 votes in favor, 33 against, 12 abstentions and 16 invalid votes

In the small branches, voting closed at 18:00 and the voting process began immediately. Meanwhile, in the large centers, voting continued until 19:00. /CNA
