Facts/ Why Veliaj delays the court process and his fear of justice

A person who believes in his innocence goes and faces justice with facts, with evidence, follows the process, goes to the hearing, finds witnesses to defend himself. There are those who admit guilt, have a summary trial, and quickly close the process. There are cases where the processes continue, but the main thing is facing justice. Facing the prosecutors in court. If they bring an accusation against you, they have their facts and evidence, you have to bring witnesses to refute those facts and evidence and prove that you are innocent. This is what happens in justice. But this is not happening with Erion Veliaj.

It's been a year since the case was brought to court, and it should be noted that the trial has not yet begun. Witnesses are not being called, the trial is being postponed, dozens of lawyers have been changed, then the defendant, lawyer Plarent Ndreca, falls ill, then Erion Veliaj doesn't show up, one of the lawyers for the other party doesn't show up.

This clearly shows us that there is a strategy to postpone the process indefinitely, to not hold hearings with witness questions. And the case of Erion Veliaj is exemplary. It is an example of how you can not be tried and justice can be dragged out with procedures and technicalities to not try a defendant with 13 serious criminal charges.

A trial that is taking place, fair hearings, witnesses, people who are called, most recently former minister Ylli Pango, people who hold positions, want the process to move forward, to be brought to the end. Sali Berisha goes to court, his witnesses are called, the parties go, the lawyers conduct the hearings. A very big difference with what he says outside when he comes out or what they say when they leave the court. Inside the hearings they are correct, the trials are taking place.
