DP's appeal to the Constitutional Court regarding the May 11 elections:

This Tuesday, the Constitutional Court is reviewing two complaints from the Democratic Party regarding investigative committees, one of them for the May 11 parliamentary elections.

In his speech, Marash Logu, as a representative of the DP, emphasized before the judging panel that this request is fully justified, based on data, indications and factual groups from the reports of international observers and the highest European institutions with expertise in the field of elections.

"There are data, indications, facts and groups of facts, which are clearly reflected in the reports of the OSCE-ODIHR, EP, CoE observers. They are part of the highest expertise in the field of elections, monitoring and electoral standards. In this sense, our request for the establishment of an investigative commission for the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025 and based on official reports, justifies the request for a parliamentary investigation. On the other hand, clearly, the request fulfilled all three requirements that the Constitutional Court has sanctioned, regarding the concrete functions and claims for the investigation", - said Logu./CNA
