25 days of protests/ Rama gathers political leaders in the regions and mayors

Prime Minister Edi Rama will hold two important meetings today at the SP headquarters. At 08:30, he will gather the political leaders of the regions, while an hour later he will hold a meeting with the socialist mayors.

These meetings come just a few days after the extended meeting that Rama held with the SP parliamentary group and members of the government, where work priorities and political objectives for the coming period were discussed.

The meetings are being held in a tense political climate, as protests have been ongoing in Tirana for more than three weeks. The full agenda of the meetings is not yet officially known, but it is expected that the focus will be on the coordination of political structures in the regions, the work of local government and the latest political developments in the country./ CNA
