The garbage that is killing the Larushka of Fushë-Krujë

Activist and journalist Aulon Kalaja has raised the alarm about the environmental situation in the village of Larushk in Fushë Krujë, describing it as an environmental massacre that has been going on for a long time and is seriously endangering the health of the residents of the area.

According to Kala, piles of urban waste have been left untouched for days, while residents have continuously expressed their concerns about the lack of intervention by responsible institutions.

He points out that the situation has worsened further, as waste has managed to block drainage channels, creating additional problems for the community and the surrounding environment.

Another concern raised by him is related to the burning of waste in open spaces. According to Kala, the flames and smoke created by burning garbage are polluting the air and increasing the risk to the health of residents.

In conclusion, he urgently called on the municipality to intervene as soon as possible to clean up the area.

"In the village of Larushk, an environmental massacre has been taking place for a long time. This garbage remains for days without being cleaned. This is becoming an epidemic for the residents of the area. I have received complaints that the garbage is not being cleaned. The garbage has managed to block the drainage channels. On the other hand, the most worrying thing is the flames of the garbage that are burning, polluting the air. Urgent call to the municipality to take measures to clean Larushk from the garbage that is taking its soul," denounced journalist Aulon Kalaja./ CNA
