51.000 euros per day for waste recycling/Këlliçi: We pay Erion Veliaj to do work, but the work is done by the sheep!

The head of Democratic Party Youth Forum, Belind Këlliçi, together with some young people went today to unit no. 6, in one of the most polluted areas of Tirana, where is located the Sharra landfill, the Tirana Incinerator, to do exactly the work that should be done by the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Këlliçi has also published a video, which reflects the situation, very different from the 3D videos served to us by the mayor Veliaj. ?In Tirana, the urban waste are food for livestock. Ironically in the unit where the Sharra landfill is located, in Kombinat, the garbage stinks badly, is burned or consumed by flocks of sheep, whose milk ends up on our tables. It is consumed by children and adults.

We pay Erion Veliaj with our taxes, to do work, but the work is done by the sheep! With 51.000 euros per day paid by the citizens of Tirana for waste recycling, Tirana would be very clean. The air would be many times better, and our health would not be endangered. We wouldn?t have sheep as the real incinerators.
