Almost a month ago, CNA.al denounced a scandal involving the Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj. CNA.al showed how at the height of the Covid- 19 pandemic, and after the tragic earthquake, while the country was facing two consecutive natural disasters, the State Police bought a luxury car, then used by the Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj.

It is about the purchase of a BMW car, worth about 100 million Lek, bought by the State Police for the Contact Officer at the Albanian Embassy in Germany, but which with extrajudicial procedures, and with this car Sander Lleshaj walks through the streets of Albania.

But, even though almost a month has passed since the publication of this scandal, Sander Lleshaj still does not answer. He has not published any document yet. The Minister responded with banal accusations, which do not suit even a ?captain?, although the latter are more honored than Sander Lleshaj.

In the banal manner, he shifted the attention saying that the amount declared by CNA.al is false, so he tried to displace the essence of the scandal. The problem is not the amount. But the procedure followed and the unbridled luxury required by the minister.

At a time when gangs and crime are crashing into the streets, Sander Lleshaj is looking for the luxury BMW. Now what Sander Lleshaj has to do. is to publish the documents of BMW, a luxury car that he says was bought for 50.000 euros, which to him seem to be nothing. After almost a month, he hasn?t issued any official document. The State Police, General Directorate of Road Transport that plunged again into another scandal doesn?t respond.

While the liar Sander Lleshaj said that he would address the court, he didn?t this. He lied saying that we reported that the vehicle is personal, but that we never said that. We said that the vehicle was bought by the State Police, but used by Sander Lleshaj.

He lied when he said that we said that the vehicle costed 150.000 euros. We never said that either. We said that the value of the vehicle is about 100 million Lek. Sander Lleshaj accused us, and we now challenge him publicly to issue the documents. Every day there will be a writing and an answer from us, until the day he will tell the Albanians when, why and how he bought the luxury BMW./CNA.al
