Who wants to save the notary of the Ben Blushi’s scandal?!

A few months ago, CNA.al reported official data on a fortune of almost 500 million Lek in the city of Korça, bought by former politician Ben Blushi, for a value of only 30.000 euros. And this on behalf of Ben Blushi?s daughter, Natali Blushi.

The amount of money for this transaction, according to the data declared by Mr.Blushi himself in the declaration of assets of 2015, was paid by him. Later CNA.al went further with the investigation, and through official documents we showed that Natali Blushi was not in Albania at the time the sale-purchase contract was signed.

So we are dealing with a firm forgery. According to official data that we have obtained from TIMS, Natali Blushi hasn?t been in Albania during the time that was signed the sale and purchase contract between citizens Andon Dimas and citizen Natali Blushi in Violeta Sulkaj?s notary office.

But even though the scandal in question happened and was denounced, the notary Violeta Sulkaj continues her duty calmly. This is a flagrant case in Albania, when a notary is caught in forgery together with a citizen, the media denounce, and the Ministry of Justice after so long time has done nothing.

In any normal country in the West, where we want to integrate, ie in an EU country, if a notary were caught in such a forgery, he would not be able to continue his task for a minute, while Violeta Sulkaj continues the work. It was Minister Gjonaj and the leaders of the institution, who said a while ago that an administrative investigation had been launched into the matter.

But no action has been taken for several weeks. Etlida Gjonaj is defending the notary caught in the act. Through its subsidiaries, or serving Blushi himself, she finds space to save notary. First, what is an administrative investigation? An administrative investigation against notary Violeta Sulkaj with little will would have been closed in 24 hours.

A group is set up at the ministry, they go and look at the register, verify the data they find online, and then get the TIMS system data, for Ben Blushi?s daughter who signed the contract. These are confronted, and this is where the story ends.

Etilda Gjonaj is looking to pass the case of Violeta Sulkaj with the variant that ?the biggest surprise lasts three days?, but this is not going to happen. We will be here every day to hold the minister accountable, why does he hold in duty a notary caught in forgery?

The administrative investigation should have started on time, and the time should have come when to take the notary to the criminal investigation. However, neither the administrative investigation has been completed, nor the report to the prosecutor’s office has been submitted. This is a flagrant case when the Minister of Justice becomes a party to the forgers, and defends the deeds and misfortunes of the notaries. If another notary had been caught in the forgery, but not with the contract of Ben Blushi?s family, would have been fired long ago.
