Sander Lleshaj lies publicly again

The Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj, lied today again and made this publicly. After MP Andi Përmeti asked him to uncover the file of journalist Elvi Fundo, the criminal event of three years ago, where the journalist was barbarically beaten in the middle of Tirana, Sander Lleshaj stood up and said that this journalist slandered, and that he didn?t buy a private car.

CNA.al reiterates that never and in no case have we said that this is a car bought privately by Sander Lleshaj. But that it is a vehicle purchased with extrajudicial procedure by the State Police. So, Mr. Lleshaj publicly lied when he said that we wrote that he bought a private vehicle. He lies, lies and just lies.
Secondly, repeating his criminal case of attack on the media, he said that we have claimed that the car was bought for 150.000 euros. We have never and in no case said this. We have said that this car worth about 100 million Lek, and this value is determined by the market value of this vehicle.
And we have shown concrete facts to the Minister of Interior, who says that he bought it for about 50.000 euros.

But, we emphasize again that we have sent a letter to the Ministry of Interior and the State Police, which has not responded to us and doesn?t make the documents available.

We emphasize that the vehicle, for which Lleshaj says that it was bought for 50.000 euros, with customs, VAT and other values that need to be added goes to 70-80 million Lek. Does Albania have the luxury for the Ministry of

Interior to buy a car worth 80 million Lek at the height of the pandemic and after the catastrophic earthquake ?

Finally, we emphasize that Sander Lleshaj from the rostrum of the Parlament said that we have no right to investigate the means used by the Minister of Interior. We have the right to investigate any vehicle paid by Albanian taxes.
Everything that circulates in the Albanian state, from the money of poor Albanians, which are used for luxury BMW?s and turn into vehicles used with fake license plates for the luxury of corrupt officials of the Albanian state.
