Meta as opposition leader, Basha as President

Ilir Meta seems very rightly concerned about Damian Gjiknuri?s draft for the Electoral

Code, so he is reacting harshly every day. Although as President he closed his history with elections, when he decreed April 25, the only role assigned to him by the constitution.

He can?t do more than that, at least officially. The surprise is that Lulzim Basha is not feeling at all, and it is clear that he is relaxed. While it?s up to him to be the most interested party and the most attentive person to the rules of the April 25 game.

Do you think that this calmness comes only from the polls, that make Basha a plebiscite winner, or is there any more reason? Or is there any more reason? Because today the President seems to be doing the job of the opposition leader, while Lulzim Basha is behaving as if he were the head of state, whose duties do not allow him to interfere with the affairs of political parties.

And in this situation, how can you not believe the rumors that Ilir Meta will become prime minister  after these elections, an idea which Edi Rama first piloted in a Ylli Ndroqi media and then it became very popular./ CNA.al
