Inter takes the lead, minimal victory over Roma

Inter have temporarily taken the lead in Serie A, thanks to a 1-0 victory over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. The only goal of the match was scored in the sixth minute by Ange-Yoan Bonny, after a move that caught the home defense by surprise.

Roma tried to react with chances from Cristante and Dybala, but failed to find the equalizer. Goalkeeper Yann Sommer was the protagonist for Inter with several decisive interventions, especially against Dybala and Hermoso.

In the end, Chivu's team managed the result and achieved their sixth consecutive victory in all competitions.

With this result, Inter are tied with Napoli and Roma on 15 points each, but maintain first place thanks to goal difference. On the other hand, Roma recorded their second defeat in the championship and their second in the last three matches in all competitions.
