Manchester United striker close to Chelsea deal

Alejandro Garnacho is very close to a move to Chelsea, with the London club having advanced talks with Manchester United.

According to Sky Sports, the parties have made significant progress and the agreement is close. The Argentine footballer is not part of coach Ruben Amorim's plans and wants to continue his career away from Manchester.

Garnacho has rejected interest from several other clubs, choosing Chelsea as his only destination. The main obstacle remains the financial demands of Manchester United, who have valued his card at 58 million euros.

Chelsea are aiming to bring the fee down to below 50 million but are hoping for a quick compromise. The player has already agreed personal terms with the London club. Chelsea believe the final deal will be completed before next Monday.
