Get to know the Superiore club where 90% of the players are foreigners

Flamurtari has returned to the Superiore with a multinational team, where about 90% of the players are foreigners and only 10% Albanian.

Currently, the red and black jersey is worn by players representing 12 nationalities and speaking 8 different languages. In the first match against Elbasan, coach Carlos Garcia fielded 7 foreign players and only 4 Albanians. Foreigners also dominated the bench, while the main language used in training and matches is English.

The technical staff is also mostly foreign, with only a few Albanian assistants. For the first time in the club's history, only one Vlora player is part of the team, Bruno Telushi, who did not play in the first match.

This situation highlights the lack of local product and the difficulties in the functioning of the Flamurtari academy.
