Edon Zhegrova receives Albanian passport, team change expected

Edon Zhegrova, in addition to his Kosovar citizenship, has officially obtained Albanian citizenship. Following his request, the attacker has obtained an Albanian passport.

This process is not related to his representation in football, as Zhegrova is a Kosovo player.

This could help him with a transfer to Juventus, as Albanians are no longer considered foreigners in Italy since last year.

The decree on granting citizenship has been approved and has entered into force immediately. It has been published in the Official Gazette in accordance with legal procedures. The decision has been signed by the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj.

With this step, Zhegrova now holds two official citizenships. The process was carried out at the personal request of the footballer.
