Analysis/ "Frightening" Inter at the start, a signal for rivals

Inter started the new Serie A season with a resounding 5-0 victory over Torino at the San Siro, in Cristian Chivu's debut as coach.

The former Romanian defender opted for the classic 3-5-2 formation, relying on the consolidated foundation from the previous period. The team showed an aggressive and dominant football, similar to the best matches of the Inzaghi era.

Thuram and Lautaro were once again the protagonists, the defense showed no signs of weakness, while midfielder Sucic adapted immediately, providing an assist. Bonny scored his first goal in the black and blue jersey a few minutes after entering the field.

The match left the impression of a confident and strong Inter, sending a clear message to the title rivals, especially Napoli.

However, it remains to be seen whether this form will be maintained against stronger opponents, such as Juventus, who host them in two weeks. For Chivu, the real challenge is continuity.
