Midfielder changes national team, will play for Kosovo

Leon Avdullahu will be the big newcomer for Kosovo. The midfielder has chosen to represent the "Dardans" in the national team.

The player, currently part of Hoffenheim, has decided to leave Switzerland, where he has played for the national teams of all ages.

The President of the Kosovo Football Federation confirmed that Avdullahu will be part of the "Dardans", while the player himself communicated the decision.

I am pleased to share with you the great news that Leon Avdullahu, guided by his heart, has decided to play for the Kosovo National Team. Leon informed me tonight of the great decision, which follows the meeting we had a while ago when we had discussed all the things.

With this decision, Leon once again strongly proved that Kosovo remains a choice of the heart and that identity and origin are not denied.
