Dembele "scares" PSG ahead of Champions League final

Ousmane Dembele has sparked panic at Paris Saint-Germain after being substituted early against Paris FC.

The French striker felt discomfort in the calf of his right foot and limped off the pitch, just 12 days before the Champions League final against Arsenal.

The club confirmed that the player is undergoing specific treatment and will be monitored by medical staff over the coming days. Examinations have ruled out a serious injury, increasing the chances that Dembele will be available for the final on May 30 in Budapest.

Coach Luis Enrique stated that the situation does not seem worrying and linked the substitution to the player's physical fatigue. Dembele is having a very positive season with 19 goals and 11 assists in 39 matches in all competitions.

His presence is considered very important for PSG's objectives in the European final. The player's condition is also being monitored by the French national team staff ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
