Jose Mourinho will return to manage Real Madrid, 13 years after his first experience at the Santiago Bernabeu. It is reported that president Florentino Perez has reached an agreement with the Portuguese coach, entrusting him with the team's management again at a difficult moment for the Madrid club.

The appointment comes after a tense season that began with coach Xabi Alonso leaving in January and Alvaro Arbeloa being appointed as interim manager.

Mourinho will sign a contract until the summer of 2028.

Florentino Perez has decided to return to a name that is well known in the club's environment. Mourinho managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, a period in which he managed to break Barcelona's dominance in the Spanish championship.

Compared to his first spell in Madrid, Mourinho is now back at a different point in his career.
