Conflict between brothers in Kavaja/ 74-year-old man dies after being stabbed

A tragic event occurred this evening in the village of Agonas in Kavaja, where a person stabbed his brother.

Police say that 76-year-old M. Rr. stabbed his 74-year-old brother, who died as a result of his injuries. The two people were in the field collecting feed for their livestock at the time of the incident.

The suspected perpetrator has been taken to the police station.

He injured his brother with a cutting tool, who died on the way to the hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained. The suspected perpetrator was arrested and taken to the police station.

At around 20:30, in the village of Agonas, Kavaja, it is suspected that, while they were in the field collecting food for livestock, citizen M. Rr., 76 years old, attacked his brother, citizen E. Rr., 74 years old, with a cutting tool (knife). He was immediately transported for medical assistance, but died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Police services have arrested and escorted the suspected perpetrator to the police station for further action.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing investigative actions to clarify the circumstances and fully legal documentation of this event.
