Threatened road construction workers/ 35-year-old man escorted to Vlora

A 35-year-old man was arrested and taken to the police station for further procedural action after he clashed with employees of a company that was carrying out works to pave the village road, set fire to a vehicle and fired a shotgun into the air, threatening the employees.

The escort is citizen EA, 35 years old, resident of the village of Panaja, Vlora.

Police services immediately went to the scene, where they arrested and escorted to the police station, for further procedural actions, the suspected perpetrator, citizen EA. Also, the hunting weapon suspected of being used during the incident was seized as material evidence.

The investigative group, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the event. /CNA
