Protest in Tirana/ 9 citizens are prosecuted for 3 criminal offenses

Tirana Police announced this Sunday afternoon that 9 protesters from yesterday's rally in the capital have been criminally prosecuted while at large.

These are the citizens: Sh. G., 32 years old, AG, 56 years old, AB, 25 years old, VK, 28 years old, GK, 30 years old, AK, 43 years old, ES, 36 years old, AK, 34 years old and R. Sh., 22 years old.

According to the police, these citizens stayed beyond the announced time for the rally, and occupied public space, placing metal chairs and other objects on the boulevard.

The procedural materials will be referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for the criminal offenses of "Obstructing the circulation of means of transport", "Disturbing public peace" and "Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings". /CNA
