Start dates and number of foreigners, AFF meeting with club leaders

The Leagues and Competitions Committee of the Albanian Football Association (AFHA) organized a meeting with the directors of clubs and academies, as part of preparations for the 2026/2027 football season. The meeting was chaired by the Technical Director of the AFHA, Abdyl Kuriu, and the Director of Competitions of the AFHA, Marjus Sulejmani.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the main issues related to the organization and development of competitions for the upcoming season, as part of the ongoing cooperation between the Albanian Football Association, clubs and academies.

During the meeting, draft competition calendars, championship start and end dates, competition schedules, as well as television broadcast schedules in the Superior and First Divisions were discussed.

Another important topic was the number of foreign players, while the discussion also included other issues of interest for the progress and increase in the quality of competitions in Albanian football.

Club and academy leaders gave their opinions and suggestions on the topics covered, while the Albanian Football Association (AFH) appreciated the importance of continuous cooperation with all football stakeholders for the best possible organization of competitions.
