Bayern Munich in the footsteps of the Albanian striker

Kosovo striker Fisnik Asllani has become one of the most sought-after names in the European transfer market.

Following Barcelona's interest, Bayern Munich have now entered the race for the 23-year-old's services. German media report that the Bundesliga champions see Asllan as a potential successor to Harry Kane.

With Hoffenheim, the striker has scored 5 goals and provided an assist in 8 matches this season, being among the best in the championship. He has also stood out with Kosovo, scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Sweden in the World Cup qualifiers.

A €30m release clause makes him a target for big clubs. The Berlin-born Asllani previously played for Austria Vienna and has come through the ranks at the German football academy. A move to Barcelona or Bayern Munich would be the biggest step in his career.
