No goals and no winner, points are shared in Apolonia-Iliria

The opening match of the ninth week in the First Category between Apolonia and Iliria ended without a winner. The two teams shared one point each after a 0-0 draw at the “Loni Papuçiu” stadium in Fier.

The match was hard fought in every department, but neither side managed to convert the chances created. In the second half, the game became tougher and in the final minutes Iliria was left with one player less, after Stafa was sent off.

Apollonia's attempts to take advantage of the numerical superiority were unsuccessful. With this draw, both teams maintain their positions in the standings. Iliria is ranked third with 15 points, while Apollonia is one step below with 13 points.
