Bayern Munich becomes fearsome, champions take 15th consecutive victory

Bayern Munich extended their winning streak at the start of the Bundesliga season to nine consecutive matches after beating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0, ending their 37-match unbeaten run on away goals.

The match, which was considered the main clash of the week in the German championship, started at a cautious pace, with Leverkusen managing to keep the home team's attacks under control for a few minutes. Bayern took the lead in the 25th minute through Serge Gnabry, while six minutes later Nicolas Jackson doubled the score with a header after a precise cross from Konrad Laimer.

At the end of the first half, Loic Bade caused an own goal, bringing the score to 3-0 for the Bavarians. In the second half, Vincent Kompany's team managed the score, while Leverkusen failed to create concrete scoring chances.

Even Harry Kane's substitution did not change the pace of the game, as Bayern lowered the intensity in anticipation of European matches. The victory consolidates Bayern at the top of the standings, while for Leverkusen it was their first away defeat in more than a year and a half.

It is worth noting that for Bayern Munich this is the 15th consecutive victory in all official matches.
