12 million euros to play against Messi, the African national team will face Argentina

The Angola national team will play a friendly match against Argentina on November 14, as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the African country's independence. The agreement was reached after long negotiations, where the presence of Lionel Messi was crucial for the realization of this meeting.

According to "Sport News Africa", Angola has paid around 12 million euros to secure the arrival of the world champions.

For Argentina, this match will serve as a test, as the team has completed the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. In addition to Angola, other countries such as Morocco had also shown interest in a friendly, but Angola's offer was financially higher.

The meeting will take place in the capital Luanda and is expected to attract great media and sporting interest.
