Allegri passes first test at Milan, title dreams loom

Max Allegri has successfully navigated a difficult period at Milan, despite numerous absences in the squad.

In the last six matches, the Rossoneri have won three home matches against Napoli, Fiorentina and Roma, drawn two away matches against Juventus and Atalanta, and drawn one away match against Pisa.

With 12 points collected out of a possible 18, Milan remains in second place in the standings, just one point behind leading Napoli.

The Tuscan coach has managed to maintain balance and take advantage of every moment, despite the absences of Pulisic, Rabiot, Loftus-Cheek, Tomori, Nkunku and Gimenez. Now that some of them are returning, Allegri may have more space for rotations and more open play.

The upcoming match against Inter will be the key test to determine whether Milan can fight for the title or simply for a place in the Champions League. President Scaroni defined this team as "a Milan for strong hearts", underlining the strong character of the team.
