Fiorentina continues its crisis of results in Serie A, after losing 1-0 at home to Lecce, in the match held at the “Artemio Franchi”. Despite controlling the game in the first minutes, Stefano Pioli's team failed to find a solution to the organized defense of the guests.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 26th minute by Medon Berisha, after an assist from Tete Morente.

Fiorentina's attempts to equalize were stopped by goalkeeper Falcone's saves, while a penalty awarded in the 84th minute was overturned after VAR intervention.

With this defeat, Fiorentina remains in penultimate place, two points below the safety zone. Lecce, meanwhile, ends a three-match winless streak, moving up to 15th place.

After this match, Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli is expected to be fired.

In the next match, Pisa drew 2-2 away to Torino, losing a two-goal lead. It was the fourth consecutive draw for the newcomers, who remain one point above the relegation zone.
