Minister of Agriculture, Andis Salla, in response to the statements of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated that a scheme aligned with European Union directives has been approved for farmers.
He stated that the government has allocated over 100 million euros, which will be solely for subsidies and payments, to help the agricultural sector.
"For farmers, there is a scheme that has been brought closer to the European Union directives. Those who work the land will receive compensation for every agricultural product. The government has allocated over 100 million euros that will be for subsidies and payments alone, to help the sector and take it to the next step. We need to talk about the national scheme, which we will make public in a few days and we will be in the regions of Albania to present to farmers," said Salla. /CNA
