Këlliçi: The mechanism that can make change has collapsed in

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi said today that the situation in the country shows that there is a decline in the mechanism that can bring about political change.

Invited to the show 'A Show', Këlliçi stated that Albania lacks a free and fair electoral process.

According to the democrat, citizens need to go to the ballot boxes with the opportunity to choose what they judge to be the best governing program and alternative.

"What is happening in Albania is that we do not have an electoral process. What we are fighting for and what can often sound tedious to the public opinion and the citizens is that we are demanding a free and fair electoral process, where Albanian citizens go and vote for the program, the alternative based on electoral promises, vision and program. In a country where the only mechanism that can make a difference has fallen, we then have every means and form, but we will have to say for a moment the truth, that there are no elections in Albania," said Këlliçi. /CNA
