Prime Minister Edi Rama stated during his speech that today Albania is ready to become part of the European Union.

Rama said that this has been achieved through reforms, which have also made "the justice system in the country more independent than ever."

Among other things, he added that the objective of Albania's membership in the EU by 2030 is the completion of a journey. He also emphasized that today Albania is already a country of obvious opportunities for everyone.

"Justice has never been more independent than today. The door to negotiations was closed to Albania, today we have opened all chapters in record time, because just like you when the door was closed in your face on the streets of the world and no one had the time and respect to understand how much you were worth, but you insisted on being ready for the door when it opened, Albania also insisted and was ready for the door when it opened.

At the first summit, the European future was an aspiration that remained far away, today it is a table where we and the European Commission are sitting with the common ambition to close the negotiations by the end of 2027. Albania will be made. Fan Noli reminded us that Albania cannot survive without its Albanians. While Albania is very close to Europe, this word takes on a special strength and meaning.
