The first meeting of the new National Council of the Democratic Party is taking place today. The agenda includes the election of the new leadership of this party.

Meanwhile, next week, after the process of electing the Presidency and its constitution, the vice-presidents and the Secretariat will be elected.

The meeting began with the speech of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who stated that this is the most qualitative and powerful National Council of the Democratic Party.

Berisha declared during his speech that the DP supports the movement of the new generation, which according to him will not stop without overthrowing this government.

"I say this with a sense of optimism, satisfaction and pride, of the most powerful, most qualitative National Council that the DP has elected in its entire history. Of the National Council that confidently takes on the historic mission of this party. The mission of restoring the free vote of Albanians and the rotation of power.

Dear friends, today our National Council meets in one of the most interesting, most special times in the entire history of political pluralism. A powerful movement like a true awakening of the new generation or generation Z has erupted in Albania as a liberating movement. The Democratic Party, which waged an epic battle, unprecedented in the history of a country to establish internal sovereignty or the true opposition, has welcomed and strongly supported this movement.

This movement of extraordinary importance. Generation Z, or the new generation, let's call it, has in the last two decades the records of the most important battles won. It was this generation that saved the country from the remnants of chemical weapons, which Edi Rama promised during his first visit to the UN. Albanians remained infinitely grateful to them. The truth is that it was mainly the battle of Albanian high school students. Those high school students, and later students, with a sensitivity, with a purity, with ideals, when they saw that the country was facing a danger, they suddenly poured into the streets and forced the despot to cancel his decision.

We must not forget that in our assessments, the truth is what inspires us, the truth is what guides us, and that battle was not fought by political forces, no, we supported them, but they fought the battle. They, with absolute determination, did not retreat from the battle until they won.

This is not the only battle won by them. Do not forget another, very important moment, when the black hand executed Klodian Rasha 5 meters from the doorstep. The murderous state presented all the deceptions and fabrications about the late Klodian Rasha, but those generations did not believe them and took to the streets with extraordinary bravery. They terrified the government. They forced Edi Rama to dismiss his minister.

Now they are on the road, there is no force in the world that can stop them without overthrowing this government. Their movement, no matter how hard Edi Rama tries with all his pro-Kola propaganda, no matter how much he has taken the biggest companies to hijack their algorithm, no matter how much he has created hundreds and hundreds of fake pages to attack them, whatever he does, is hopeless. That generation never knows how to retreat. That generation only knows how to win.
