Protesters threw eggs at his car/ Koçiu reacts to the situation in front

Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu reacted a few minutes ago regarding the tensions created this morning in front of the Parliament, where citizens gathered in protest.

Among the protesters' actions was throwing eggs at Koçiu's car.

Through a post on social media, Koçiu states that what happened today is unacceptable and outside any democratic framework, while he does not hesitate to describe them as scenarios for chaos and destabilization.

"The verbal and physical violence displayed today outside the Parliament is unacceptable and outside any democratic framework.

Such aggressive behavior does not honor either the protest or anyone who claims to represent the citizens of this country.

Scenarios for destabilization and chaos, orchestrated by a small group of people who place their political agendas above the interest of the country, cannot and will never take Albania's public and political life hostage.

"These attempts will always fail, just as they have failed in the past, leaving the stain of shame on the perpetrators and the abandonment of citizens, who today, more than ever, choose the path of development and membership in the European Union," Koçiu writes. /CNA
