Being Albanian is a full-time job. Every morning I start by cursing about the traffic, then I get in the car to drive the 100 meters to the neighborhood cafe.

You complain about prices, but only on Instagram. You curse the government from "morning to evening", but always end with the prayer: "May the government put its hand on its heart".

At weddings you fight, at death you reconcile. You show your bravery in song and in the stadium! You hate crime, but you adore "tough guys".

You slander Serbia, but sing Slavic songs. You are convinced that Adam and Eve were Albanians, and that every other people is more backward than us!

You are convinced that Turkey is to blame for the backwardness, even though you sing to Erdogan and go to Istanbul hospitals for "medicine." Italy and Greece, of course, are bursting with jealousy for our "wonderful" tourism and do everything they can to sabotage it.

Our beaches are the most beautiful in the world, even though you have never seen most of them in a photo or in a dream! You are confident in your own strength, but in the end you say: "I have left you to God."

You blame foreigners for everything, but then you ask the existential question: “why don't the internationals intervene?” You complain about the government, but the opposition is to blame.

He prefers not to work because "the salary is low." He waits for the leader with songs at the entrance to the tunnel and curses him as he comes out of the tunnel!

You send your children to private schools and in the afternoons you hire teachers from the state school for private lessons. You rejoice like a child when someone goes to SPAK, even though your case has been forgotten in court for 20 years.

You talk happily about integration into Europe, but you love America. You boast about religious tolerance, but intolerance is your main religion. You make an eagle with your hands at every event, but at the speed of light you flee even at night towards "other lands".

I don't drink coffee to wake up, but to forget. I drink Italian espresso in a Turkish cup, listening to Greek music and watching the news from Ukraine. I'm always busy with work, but always ready for a coffee that lasts until dinner.

He talks about politics as an analyst, about football as a national team coach, and about global issues as an expert in International Law. He talks about agriculture & livestock at an academic level, even though his only contact with the village is Instagram.

You communicate with the whole world thanks to the internet, but for important matters you still trust the "dinner expert". You write comments before reading the post for fear of changing your mind and not insulting the author!

You trust your cup of coffee and your luck more than any state institution. You are equipped with a car and a phone from 2025, but you are paralyzed with fear when a black cat crosses your path. Your first prayer is not for health, but for the lottery. Instead of facing the problem, you say: "that's how it was written."

You complain about corruption, but you want to solve your problem with a "small coffee". You want everything "very good", but you want to buy it as cheaply as possible! You are convinced that no one loves Albania more than you, while you yourself plan to leave "for a while", until "it gets better here". You yourself want to leave, but you want others to return! / CNA
